B.A.D Batt #29: Scrap Rescue
B.A.D Batt #29: Scrap Rescue
This batt is part of the B.A.D Batt series — the one where I make one batt per day purely because I am inspired by a picture, a plant, or maybe even someone’s outfit.
All B.A.D Batts are one of a kind as I make whatever I feel like each day. But if one catches your eye, let me know as I can create something similar using that as inspiration. As there is only one — if you love it, snap it up. I’d love to see what you create with this batt.
This batt is made entirely with yarn scraps — the ends I’ve snipped off after weaving, the last of the fibre that was otherwise destined for the bin. It’s all been re-fluffed up and carded into this beautiful unique batt ready for spinning into some funky yarn. See an example of a skein I’ve previously made from a batt like this.

50g
A mix of nearly every fibre you can imagine: wool, acrylic, cotton, and more.
Note:
You can choose to have this batt spun into handspun yarn for you if you’d prefer — it will be between a 4ply and worsted weight yarn — no guarantees on a specific weight with the nature of my spinning :)
Just select Handspun Yarn from the State dropdown. Please also allow a week or so for the spinning to be carried out before it is parcelled and sent to you.
