Workshops & Lessons
The Artisans’ offers a range of knitting lessons and workshops that are fantastic for beginner knitters and those wanting to give knitting a whirl in a fun environment. You can choose from 1:1 tutorials or group workshops (which are great for events like hen’s parties and birthday activities.
Currently, all workshops and lessons take place at The Artisans’ home studio in South Auckland.
Knitting: 1:1 Lessons

These 1:1 lessons are great for beginner knitters keen to get a crash course in everything from how to choose yarn and needles for projects, how to cast on, how to knit and purl, and how to cast off.
Needles and yarn are supplied, which you can take with you to continue working on your project if you wish!
Lessons run for 1 hour, and you can book as many lessons as you like.
Tea and coffee supplied.
Lessons are available Monday–Friday.
Knitting: Group Workshops at The Artisans’ studio

Whether it’s for a hen’s party, birthday party, or just a fun activity with a group of friends, The Artisans’ knitting group workshops are great for beginners keen to learn the basics of knitting in a fun environment.
Needles and yarn are supplied, which you can take with you to continue working on your project should you wish!
Workshops run for 2 hours.
8 people maximum
BYO drinks. Tea and coffee supplied.
Workshops are available Monday–Sunday.
